Tour Participation Waiver 

Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd


1. Rider Acknowledgement

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a motorcycle tour operated by Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd. I understand that riding motorcycles involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, mechanical failure, accident, adverse weather, road hazards, and third-party actions.

I confirm that I am participating of my own free will and fully accept all risks involved.



2. Motorcycle Condition & Equipment

If riding my own motorcycle on the tour:

I confirm that my motorcycle is roadworthy, safe, taxed, and complies with all legal requirements in the countries visited.

I confirm that my motorcycle is fully insured for road use in all relevant jurisdictions and includes cover for international travel if applicable.

I accept full responsibility for the maintenance and condition of my motorcycle throughout the tour.

I understand that Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd accepts no responsibility for the safety, maintenance, insurance, or legality of privately owned motorcycles.

I further confirm that I will wear a helmet that meets local legal requirements and appropriate protective riding gear at all times.



3. Legal Compliance

I confirm that:

I hold a valid motorcycle licence appropriate for the motorcycle I will operate and the countries included in the tour.

I will carry all necessary documentation, including my driver’s licence, insurance certificate, vehicle registration documents, and breakdown cover if required.

I am solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all road laws and regulations in the countries visited.

 

 

4. Riding Conduct

I agree to ride in a safe, respectful manner at all times, and to follow instructions provided by Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd staff or guides. I accept that the tour may involve riding in groups, on unfamiliar roads, and in varying weather or road conditions.

I understand that I am responsible for maintaining control of my motorcycle and for making all decisions regarding my own safety and the safety of others around me.

 

 

5. Liability Waiver

I release, waive, and discharge Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd, its directors, guides, agents, and employees from all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from any loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from participation in a tour — whether caused by negligence or otherwise — to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I accept that Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd is not responsible for:

  1. Mechanical failure, accident, or breakdown of my motorcycle.
  2. Theft or loss of personal equipment or belongings.
  3. Medical costs or travel disruption during or after the tour.
  4. Injury or loss resulting from failure to comply with laws or tour guidance.

 

6. Insurance

I understand that travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants, covering medical care, trip cancellation, loss or theft, and roadside assistance. I acknowledge that Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd does not provide personal insurance cover as part of the tour package.



7. Declaration

By signing this waiver, I confirm that I:

  1. Have read and understood the terms of this waiver.
  2. Understand the risks involved in motorcycle touring.
  3. Accept full responsibility for my actions, equipment, and compliance with the law.
  4. Release Maverick Motorcycle Tours Ltd from liability, as outlined above.
